Structure: Entertainment:

A lightweight piece of nostalgia that doesn’t try to be anything more than a slice-of-life story.  There is no attempt at greater meaning beyond the opportunity to play really cool 80s songs and show the relationships that can develop while working a mindless summer job.  As someone who worked at an amusement park in the late 80s and early 90s, I had hoped for a little more in regards to the day-to-day life of a park employee, but what it does do, it does accurately (i.e., mechanics were always considered the “rock gods”).  Fun flick if you’re in the mood for something light and easy.
