Usually after watching the Oscars I feel depressed. I feel as i will never be as good or as bright as the people getting the little statues. So why bother? Why write? Why save all my money to do an other short? Why dream of directing a feature? Tonight was different. I guess I am too old to be jealous of others. Maybe I can see through the veneer that we call greatness and see hard work and dedication. So I am working tonight on my script. I am not going to try to make it perfect but i will try to make it 100% me. That is all anyone can and should do. Time to work now.
