Welcome!

It seems like maybe this is your first time here. It should be pretty obvious by the obnoxious banner overhead, but if you’re still confused what’s going on here be sure to read what this site is all about. If you like what you find here, I also encourage you to subscribe to the RSS feed. In this way, you can always stay up-to-date with this in-depth look into great stories.

Excelsior!

Chris gave me a hard time for not posting anything in over a month - a far cry from the “daily” postings I had originally intended.

So, in an effort to get more content up here more often, I’ve recently switched over from my old blogging service to Wordpress. I love tinkering with my sites and Wordpress definitely satiates my desire for that…plus, it looks pretty, don’t it?

Please note that the RSS feed will not work for a couple of days - I will be setting it up so that you won’t have to switch a thing.

And note that the list of Categories has diminished greatly. I haven’t erased anything, just folded some duplicate categories into one (I couldn’t really see the difference between ‘Story Analysis’ and ‘Analysis.’) Here’s what you’ll find under the new cats:

  • Analysis - any sort of review or analysis by Chris or me (or anyone else using Dramatica)
  • Basic Concepts - an entry level look and clarification of Dramatica basics
  • History - the history of developing the theory of Dramatica
  • Hodgepodge - stuff I really couldn’t find a place for
  • Underlying Theory - this is the real deep, heady stuff - tread carefully

Expect more in the coming weeks…

Oh - and I’m supposed to give some love to the theme I’m using - Treba - check it out here.
