Excelsior!

a well or a wall

August 7th, 2005 · No Comments

Well or Wall 1The Impact Character has shined his light and the Main Character is made aware of their wall of Justification in front of them. But this wall is different based on the Main Character’s Growth.

More specifically, think of the Change Stop character as having a wall, and the Change Start character as being at the bottom of a well.

Well or Wall 3_2For both it seemed the same at the beginning - just a couple of bricks and an annoying voice from beyond. The Main Character cannot tell in the beginning whether or not he is in front of a wall or at the bottom of a well. He just sees the bricks.

If he’s in a hole, he can’t start tearing bricks down - the whole thing would collapse on him! And if he thinks he is in a well, he won’t be able to move the bottom of that wall to start building up a platform.

The Change Stop character has to tear down the wall in front of him.

The Change Start character has to find a way to the top.
